Christmas Sugar Cookies 2015

christmas cookies

I wanted to share my Christmas Sugar Cookies for 2015. I probably should have shared this BEFORE Christmas, but it just didn't happen. I always like making Christmas cookies. There are so many (maybe too many) possibilities. My pile of Christmas cookie cutters is as big as all my other cookie cutters. But this year, I wanted to make sure that I focused on one thing. That Christmas is about the birth of the Savior. Sure, there are snowmen and Santa Clause and elves... And I did make some of … [Read more...]

Mountain Peak Cookies

Mountain Range Cookies

A few months ago, I got a commission to create cookies from a neighbor. Her request was not typical. No baby shower or birthday cookies here. It took about 3 times as long as I planned. One good thing that came out of these cookies, was experimenting with dipping cookies.  A friend posted this video, not … [Read more...]

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow, snowflake cookies

Snowflake cookies

I like snow in December. It fills the time before Christmas with anticipation. It makes the world prettier. And the kids love it. But this year, we have seen zero snow. None. And I live in a climate where snow is normal. It's 60 degrees outside today.   (Which is really nice, but I miss the snow.) In order to entice the snow gods, I made some snowflake cookies. I will seriously be bummed if we don't have a white Christmas. Can I just say that I'm in love with these? Not to be too … [Read more...]
