Happy Halloween Everybody!
Whew! This week has been crazy. My kids don’t have school today, so all the Halloween festivities happened yesterday. I had a parade, a program, and a party to attend. Oh, and did I mention that one of my patients called and needed to be seen yesterday as well? Oh, and I had to do my visiting teaching? And our family planned to go to the pumpkin patch and carve pumpkins and maybe go to Lagoon for the last day of the season.
What does this all mean? Naturally, that I made Halloween sugar cookies. You should see my house. Neglected would be a kind term for it.
Between the program and work, I did a little piping.
Between the preschool party and visiting teaching, I did some airbrushing. This was the first real time I’ve been able to try my airbrush and can I say, it is AWESOME! I love what it did to the cookies. The shading really adds and element and I didn’t have to make the icing black, black, black. Just grey.
At the preschool party, I was in charge of helping the kids… decorate sugar cookies. Ha ha! Theirs looked more like blobs of frosting with lots of sprinkles. Actually a little gross.
After carving pumpkins, I did some details.
We didn’t make it to Lagoon (a local amusement park.) After the kids got in bed, I finished up.
Now I gotta go find my floor again.
Happy Halloween!
